Dubai: Timberland, the world’s leading outdoor fashion brand, hosted the brand’s first Dubai catwalk event in the region to launch its Spring Summer 2014 collection.

The event, which took place on Wednesday evening, saw Cabana in The Address Dubai Mall transformed into a contemporary haven for the outdoorsy and active, reflecting the laid-back authentic style Timberland is renowned for.

Embodying over 40 years of ‘Best Then. Better Now’, The Spring Summer 2014 collection continues the Timberland tradition of weaving together the best of the old and the new. Authentic outdoor classics, mixed with updated collections, innovative styles and original colours.

At the event, models showcased thirty looks from the new collection whilst strolling down a poolside catwalk made of timber crates. Guests were invited to find out if their summer style is more ‘Escape the City’ or ‘Harborside lifestyle’ at a one-night only pop-up shop. Entertainment was provided by the exciting new sounds of Dubai’s music scene heavyweights, Bull Funk Zoo and DJ Soul Ninja.

Before the show, competition winners from MyFashDiary.com and Al Arabiya FM, Virgin Radio and Dubai 92 were invited to join bloggers for a tweet up and private styling session hosted by fashion icon and MyFashDiary.com founder, Tala Samman.
