ATLANTIS, THE PALM LAUNCHES ‘AQUAVENTURE AFTER DARK’ A FIRST OF ITS KIND EVENING EVENT AT THE AWARD-WINNING WATERPARK

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates Waterpark fans can splash into the weekend on Thursday, April 5th, 2018, with the launch of ‘Aquaventure After Dark’, a brand-new evening concept that will see Dubai and the Middle East’s number one waterpark open its doors at 7:30pm for moonlit fun set to the backdrop of a live DJ.

In partnership with Coca-Cola® and 104.8 Channel 4 radio and costing from just AED 95, Aquaventure will be lit up from 7:30pm – 11:30pm and will offer children and adults of all ages the chance to take on over 20 of Dubai and the Middle East’s scariest waterslides, whilst listening to the latest beats from DJ Shef Codes and Saif&Sound in three epic DJ zones.

In addition, 104.8 Channel 4 radio presenters will be hosting fun and games throughout the evening including ‘The Leap of Faith’s Loudest Scream’ and ‘100 Grand in the Sand’ where contestants can dig in the sand to uncover AED 100,000 worth of prizes including a night in Atlantis, The Palm’s Underwater Suite.

Children in attendance will also be able to enjoy the brand-new children’s area called ‘Splashers Island’ which launches at Aquaventure Waterpark this week.  Located next to the current children’s area ‘Splasher’s Mountain’, ‘Splashers Island’ is suitable for families with children 1.20m and below and features seven new exciting waterslides and a giant dry play-structure shaped like a Dhow.

Waterpark goers can also feast throughout the evening at live cooking stations, offering dishes starting from 35AED such as stir-fried Shanghai noodles, foot long hot dog, pulled chicken quesadillas, Biryani box and Arabic spiced chicken shawarmas. Shark Bites and Barracudas will also offer indoor and outdoor seating and something for every taste including Arabic mezze, freshly baked pizzas, shawarma, falafel, dosa, fish & chips and barbeque just off the grill.

Situated on the apex of the Palm in Dubai, and known for its terrifying and record-breaking slides, Aquaventure is the only waterpark in The Middle East that offers marine animal experiences and is the only waterpark in Africa and the Middle East which has 700 metres of white sand beach. The waterpark also boasts some record-breaking slides including the world’s largest circumference water ride ‘Aquaconda’, the first twin racing tube rides ‘Slitherine’ and the longest zip line circuit in Dubai.
