UB40 to headline The BIG GRILL 2014
-Diana King and No Mercy will share stage to debut the new food & music festival-
Dubai UAE- Legendary reggae band UB40, will add sizzle to the debut edition of The BIG GRILL 2014. Sundance Live, organizers of the music and food festival, have also confirmed international performers – Diana King and No Mercy for the weekend festivities. Taking place on 27th and 28th February 2014 at the prestigious Emirates Golf Club, The BIG GRILL is a part of the inaugural Dubai Food Festival taking place across Dubai from 21st February to 15th March 2014, created to promote the gastronomic offering of the city. The first of its kind, The BIG GRILL is 2-day celebration that promises a weekend of flaming barbecues and tasty steaks combined with great entertainment for all. The event kicks off on Thursday afternoon with doors opening at 4pm as the grill masters fire up the grill stations to serve tasty steaks and juicy burgers.

We took our time to master the logistics and ensure a certain mood is achieved. The BIG GRILL weekend comprises of complete steak and grill stations by a team of executive chefs, with Grill Masters station set up for the culinary connoisseurs. Indulge in the barbecue tastes from around the world like the authentic Indian kebabs, Lebanese mashawis and an array of global tastes.
Gear up for The BIG GRILL weekend, tickets and bookings are now on sale. Thursday 27th Feb 2014; doors open 4pm to late, ticket price AED 295 and kids tickets are available at AED100. Friday 28th Feb 2015; doors open at 1pm to late, ticket price AED 300 and kids ticket are AED150. Weekend pass is available at AED 495 and kids ticket is AED 250. All tickets include unlimited open food from the grills plus one serving from the Masters of the Grill Zone.

UB40 formed in 1978 in Birmingham, England. Since then, the band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved huge international success. The band has been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984, were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group.
