All-over body shaping and smoothing swimwear

UAE: Speedo believes that all women should be able to look and feel great in and out of the water. That’s why they’ve created Speedo Sculpture, a swimwear collection made to give women confidence by smoothing and shaping the body to enhance and control feminine curves.

Speedo spoke to 1,200 women globally to develop its Sculpture collection and the in depth research revealed that 52% of women didn’t feel their best in their current swimwear.[1] A further 76% said they would like to be able to find swimwear that flatters their body shape, while 63% said that feeling more confident in their swimsuit would encourage them to swim more often.[2]

But Speedo didn’t stop there. Knowing that women want flattering swimwear that is also functional, Speedo analysed the body scans of 5,400 women, to see how swimwear could complement and enhance women’s bodies both in and out of the water as well as being practical for comfortable swimming.

The result was Speedo Sculpture, a swimwear collection that focuses on all-over body shaping, tummy control and bust support as well as visual shaping and flattering styling to help create a flattering ‘hourglass’ silhouette.

Every style in the Speedo Sculpture collection has been fitted on real women and features secure adjustable straps for a great fit, as well as being made using  Xtra Life LYCRA®, a high stretch and high power fibre that lasts up to 10 times longer than conventional swimwear fabrics, for swimwear that fits and shapes like new for longer.

Speedo has updated the Speedo Sculpture collection for 2014 to include several new styles and prints so that women have a choice of designs to pick from.

  • The Premiere Aurapool – AED 370 is a stylish violet and jade 1 piece with chevron print detail and a contrasting colour band across the waist. This styling works to slim the silhouette and draw the eye to the narrowest part of the body, the V-neckline also elongates the upper body so the overall effect is a natural looking hourglass silhouette.
  • The Premier Simplyglow – AED 325 1 piece is a wraparound design; a favourite and flattering style for curvy women. The gentle gathers on the suit visually disguise any lumps or bumps and the halter neck flatters the bust and balances out the hips to create a symmetrical silhouette. It’s available in striking jade, stylish watermelon or chic black.
  • The Premier CrystalSun – AED 345 1 piece available in black and watermelon brings a touch of Hollywood glamour to the poolside. The ruching detail down the side of the suit offers comfortable cover for the tummy area. The swimsuit also has a bandeau neckline to enhance and flatter a smaller bust and the long line and lower leg visually elongates and slims the body.

The Speedo Sculpture collection is available in Studio R and Stadium Stores and other reputable sporting outlets across the Middle East.
