The Lounge

Afternoon Tea

Located in the heart of the hotel, where large windows overlook Dubai Creek, The Lounge is surrounded by several water features and a central indoor garden, providing a peaceful haven where guests can savour one of the most beloved of English rituals, afternoon high tea.

Served from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily, this light, elegant meal consists of three courses, starting with assorted crustless finger sandwiches of smoked organic salmon, cucumber and cream cheese, air-dried bresaola and grain mustard, and fresh mozzarella and tomato on a soft roll.

Next, guests can savour pastry delights, including classic English trifle, Scottish shortbread, fresh berry tartlets and mouth-watering chocolate éclairs, as well as freshly baked raisin and plain scones served with Devonshire clotted cream, homemade lemon curd and a variety of jams and preserves.

Taking centre stage is, of course, the wonderful assortment of 12 varieties of fine teas, including Assam Breakfast, Earl Grey and Darjeeling, to name a few.

Afternoon tea is priced at AED190 per couple.

Guests can now opt for a new afternoon tea package at The Lounge, served daily from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  The menu includes all the traditional favourites accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine.
