Movado launched Cerena, its modern ceramic watch design for women, just last year. Cerena captured the essence of Movado’s modern aesthetic in its softly sculpted contours, rendered in stainless steel with white or smoky lilac ceramic – an innovative material in watch design, prized for its light weight and smooth, lustrous finish.
Cerena’s contemporary new color-matched dial design, featuring a round, flat, white or smoky lilac dot at 12 o’clock, paid clear homage to Movado’s legendary Museum Dial, an icon of Modernism.
For 2013, the fashion-forward Cerena line introduces a dramatic all-black style sleekly crafted in smooth black ceramic and black PVD-finished stainless steel. An oversized 36mm case frames the matte black 3-hand dial with flat, black signature dot at 12 o’clock and round date display at 6. Ten sparkling diamonds pinpoint the hours, adding a brilliant contrast. The sleekly sculpted mixed materials link bracelet secures to the wrist with a hidden deployment clasp.
Conjuring dramatic mystique and intrigue, this new Cerena is powered by a fine Swiss quartz movement. Water resistant to 30 meters.
