Marks & Spencer launches spring ’16 womenswear & lingerie collections
Dubai UAE: Elegant simplicity sets the tone for Marks and Spencer’s new spring 16 collection.
Print, colour and texture are considered and interpreted through a strong seasonal edit, with a distinct awareness of the contemporary woman; allowing the quality of style and the nuance of design to take the forefront.
Below are the trends that define the mood of this season’ womenswear collection-
Soft Focus– A relaxed romantic mood sees blush tones and lucid textures infuse, as overt femininity is indulgently explored.
Modern Utility- Sumptuously tactile fabrics in an earthy palette of warm khaki and chestnut, cut a modern sculpted silhouette, offset with vivid print detailing.
In the Fold- The contemporary informs the tailored, as a sleek profile is graphically explored in a palette of cool neutrals and a shine of sultry metallic.
Retro Remix- A playful spirit is revived, as luxe jacquards and embroidered layers collide, in an eclectic fusion of print and texture.
Luxe Traveller- The flamboyance of colour and print underpin a confident aesthetic; as the vividly dramatic meets the supremely luxurious.
Lingerie
For Spring 16 ultra-romantic softness brings true lingerie to the fore as florals, lace and sheer detailing emerge as a key aesthetic. In contrast, modernity and a monochrome palette, define a pared back graphic look and technical, sleek silhouettes. The spirit of Rio inspires bold colour clashes, modern athletic styling and a playful take on vibrant global patterning. Light, cool, sheer and comfort emerge as the defining lingerie trends which underpin the season.
The Spring 16 products will be available online and in selected stores from March, 2016.
