ERMENEGILDO ZEGNA: THE LA EXPERIENCE
Los Angeles, CA – To celebrate the opening of the new Global store on Rodeo Drive, Ermenegildo Zegna launched the worldwide retail debut of the Spring Summer 2014 Couture collection giving a nod to the entertainment industry where fashion and design are fundamental. Created by new Head of Design, Stefano Pilati, the Couture collection was unveiled exclusively in the Beverly Hills store on Thursday, November 7, 2013.
Renowned actors Gerard Butler, Edward Norton, Jeremy Renner, Sharon Stone and musician Gavin Rossdale joined Zegna for the evening’s celebration.
Gildo Zegna and Stefano Pilati hosted an in-store cocktail to showcase the new Peter Marino designed Global store, as well as previewed a specially curated selection of 10 unique, one-of-a-kind Couture looks available only at the Beverly Hills store. Highlights of the offering include wool and mohair suit separates, wool gabardine jackets, floral jacquard knits and “after six” looks which will remain in-store and available for purchase throughout the full Spring Summer 2014 season.
The evening continued as Gildo Zegna and Stefano Pilati invited guests for a special exhibition and dinner at the JF Chen design gallery where they discovered the new Ermenegildo Zegna brand direction. By way of a powerful multimedia experience, guests were introduced to the new Eminences Grises, the creative concept behind the campaign, the very first which has been overseen by Pilati himself. Renowned photographers Inez & Vinoodh, with art direction from Pilati, together shot the new SS14 Couture advertising campaign. These images were exhibited within the event space.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the lounge area while famed deejays Francois Benner in from Berlin and Konrad Black spun into the night
