Ermenegildo Zegna opens its second Flagship Store in Abu Dhabi at The Galleria, Al Maryah Island

 

Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 2013 – Ermenegildo Zegna opens a new Flagship Store in Abu Dhabi, UAE, at The Galleria in Sowwah Square, Al Maryah Island; it is the second Flagship store in the city while the first was opened in 2012 at Etihad Towers, Al Ras Al Akhdar District. Created by Zegna’s in-house architects, the design is based on the creative concept developed by architect Peter Marino for various Zegna global stores throughout the world. Located on the first floor, the 249 square meters of luxury selling space compliments the brand’s use of quality materials, integrity and modern style.

Nature and technology are harmoniously blended within the interior design through the masculine yet natural color palette created with rosewood, mahogany and both bronze metals and brushed stainless steel. On the facade clients will see a video installation showcasing the latest Ermenegildo Zegna Fashion Show.

The store design was inspired by the premier-quality fabrics that have been created at Zegna’s eponymous wool mill in Trivero, Italy since 1910.

The boutique’s dark colors, natural textures and rich furnishings create a luxurious interior, maintaining the Zegna heritage of timeless style and sophisticated elegance.

The store is on a single floor and displays a full range of Ermenegildo Zegna products and services. The luxury offerings consist of the traditional Italian tailoring of ‘Sartoria’ in contemporary silhouettes, as well as Zegna’s sophisticated ‘Upper Casual’ leisurewear collection. The store also features the appealing Zegna Sport line and an extensive range of leather goods, textile accessories and personal items from Ermenegildo Zegna’s licensing collections.

The Sartorial room, with its rich detailing, will also host the exclusive ‘Su Misura’ Made-to-Measure service, which is the pinnacle of Zegna offer.
