We lavish care and attention on our lives, so full of contrast. Yet at the same time we have a need for clarity and simplicity. Playful encounters with technology are a feature of everyday life. Clear forms and simple, almost childlike relaxation activities play a role in our lives. High-tech may be the order of the day in the office, but it is «high-mech» that one wears on one’s arm. With the Patravi T-Graph, Carl F. Bucherer is launching a completely novel type of watch that lives up to these requirements.

The unprecedented combination of three highly useful but complex mechanisms – chronograph, big date and power reserve display – is unique in the world of watches. The automatic calibre CFB 1960 is used for the first time in the Carl F. Bucherer Patravi T-Graph.

The automatic calibre CFB 1960 – with chronograph and big date – is embedded in the tonneau-shaped case, displaying the power reserve in a quite unconventional way. A feature that makes sense, especially for people who frequently change watches. The watch face incorporates an unusual function which presents information in an aesthetically pleasing and captivating manner. At the 6 o’clock position there is an arc-shaped scale with high/low display in the form of a disc, which rotates in a clockwise direction when the watch is wound up. Superimposed on this disc is a hand which also moves in the natural direction of rotation (clockwise) as the watch runs, i.e. the hand does not behave in a retrograde way. The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi T-Graph is the first watch ever to integrate this technical sophistication.

The masculine design of this timepiece is original and distinctive. The lugs, buttons and crown fit smoothly into the  barrel-shaped case. The Patravi T-Graph, with its innovative and modern design, has all the attributes of a classic. The placement of the small second hand at 3 o’clock, the 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock and the power reserve display at 6 o’clock recall instrument panels from the automotive industry. This effect is reinforced by the black watch face with polished markings, the white numbers and the red, which adds a touch of dynamism and sportiness. The energy star in the Carl F. Bucherer logo and the markings on the high/low power reserve display gleam in red. Another special feature of the Patravi T-Graph is the placement of the timer (with 1/4-second intervals) for the chronograph function. The timer has deliberately been positioned along the inner edge of the markings. This makes the stop-second easy to read.

Superior craftsmanship, exceptional workmanship and unusual functionality have acquired a new face in the Patravi

T-Graph.
