Calling All Budding Novelists…

Dubai: You have always wanted to write that book, haven’t you? Putting your ideas to paper is not easy, though. Perhaps you attempted the first chapter… then deleted the whole thing wanting to start again. Do you have day dreams of becoming a writer, but never find the time or motivation to actually write? Well, there’s no better time to start than now by enrolling in one of the most influential and inspiring courses in Dubai!
Creative Writing Dubai enjoyed many successful courses to date, and a brand new course will begin on Monday 28th April at 7.30pm. The intimate group of budding writers will meet each week for 4 weeks at the Pascal Tepper French Bakery, located next door to the Radisson Blu, in Dubai Media City.
Writing styles will be discussed and explored while each week, members of the group will be tasked with completing a variety of challenging and mind-stretching writing exercises as well as learn some tips and tricks that will inspire putting pen to paper and finally writing that novel! The first session will explore the art of writing a short story, while your own unique style of writing will be discovered and nurtured during the course, giving you the confidence to begin writing your short story, memoirs or even novel.
The course is open to anybody who has a desire to write, even if you have never even tried creative writing before. All those participating must be prepared to write a short piece after each session, as well as discuss and share it with the group the following week.
Professional writer, novelist and actress, Hayley Doyle, is leading this special course for those who want to write, right! With a Masters degree in Creative Writing: The Novel from Brunel University in London, where she studied under the supervision of the legendary Fay Weldon, Hayley won the Curtis Brown Award for a novelist in 2010. She has been writing plays for children in Dubai for over three years and is represented by Darley Anderson Literary Agency in London.

Professional writer, novelist and actress, Hayley Doyle has a Masters degree in Creative Writing: The Novel, from Brunel University in London, where she studied under the supervision of the legendary Fay Weldon.
