Dubai-based design label Kara by KK to debut its All That Glitters Collection at the Pune Fashion Week, 2016

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Kara by KK, a high fashion prêt meets couture brand from Dubai drawing inspiration from the multicultural beauty of the region, introduces its All That Glitters collection for the very first time at the high-profile Pune Fashion Week event from 23rd to 25th September, 2016 at The Westin, Pune.
A luxury expo that chooses 14 of the most renowned designers to showcase their works and inspire potential designers and fashion lovers, welcomes its sixth edition at The Westin with names such as Nivedita Saboo, Bibi Russel, Ashok Mannay and Kanchan Kulkarni. Presenting a coalesce of silks, tulle and lace infused with shimmer and delicate beading, Kara by KK’s latest festive collection is a tribute to its roots with a stark western silhouette. All That Glitters is a collection of whites, golds and blacks for an elegant, but glamorous color palette befitting Pune Fashion Week’s theme of Fierce, Forward and Fashionable. The collection created with the modern contemporary woman in mind, has tried to capture her true global style with an Indian spirit.
Kanchan Kulkarni, Founder and Designer, Kara by KK, said, “I have always been very enthralled by the beauty and simplicity of the modern Arabian woman’s abaya, as well as the grace and loveliness of a Kanchipuram sari. Mixing these into striking western silhouettes gives you what Kara by KK is made of – style, panache, and culture. Held in the heart of Maharashtra, the Pune Fashion Week is a thriving celebration of fashion with its innovative shows and informative Fashion Knowledge Series, the biggest introduction of inspiring talks to promote education about fashion at the expo.

The flagship fashion and lifestyle event will also include apart from its runways shows a Fashion Knowledge Series, a Genesis fashion show for students to showcase their collections, as well as a Hair and Makeup show from 23rd-25th September, 2016 at The Westin, Pune.
