Dubai, UAE – Don’t miss out on an Open Day at the iconic Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on Saturday 18th October 2014 between 1.30pm and 5.30pm. The whole family will be able to experience the best of everything that Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has to offer with a free day of golfing and recreational activities, regardless of your level of golfing experience or fitness.
Some activities you will get to take part in include complimentary lessons from The Academy, pitching, chipping, putting and short game clinics, closest to the pin and putting challenges. You will also have the chance to experience F1 racing with the car simulator.
If you are into fitness, there will be fitness sessions and demonstrations from the Fit Lab team, including Zumba, golf specific training, circuit training, Fit for Kids and Yoga as well as children’s games and activities and the PING and Titleist Try and Buy event.
THE PEARL PUTTING COURSE
The brand 18 hole Pearl Putting Course has been designed to capture some of the character of the championship course, presenting some challenging shots. The putting course is designed for all levels and ages of golfer to provide a testing and fun challenge, 18 holes costs just AED50 for adults and AED40 for juniors and EGF members inclusive of club and ball hire if required. The putting course can be played for free all day on 18th October and some great prizes are available!
GOLF & RACING SIMULATOR
The golf simulator features high speed camera technology to capture swing path, impact and ball flight, delivering an incredibly realistic indoor golf experience for both practice and play. The simulator offers the choice of over 140 golf courses from around the world and also has a racing car option where drivers can race around the world’s leading circuits. Challenge yourself to see if you have what it takes to record the fastest lap with complimentary trials from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.

The award winning Golf Academy currently teaches over 5,000 students per year, from beginners to experienced players and from children as young as four years old. The Academy is staffed by fully qualified PGA Professionals who are available to assist experienced and new golfers with their game.
A selection of lesson programmes are available including kindergarten golf, ladies sessions, dedicated putting lessons, on course playing tuition and a range of other individual and group lessons. Alternatively, programmes can be personally tailored to suit individual abilities and schedules.
