Six Senses Zighy Bay Introduces Visiting Chef Greg Malouf – Master of Modern Middle Eastern Cuisine

Dubai 2016 – Six Senses Zighy Bay, located in the Northern Musandam Peninsula in Oman is known for its culinary excellence. From April 5 to 9, 2016 Greg Malouf, who has been cited as the master of modern Middle Eastern cuisine, visits as a guest chef at the resort’s signature fine-dining restaurant Sense on the Edge. He will be working alongside Executive Chef Ron McKinley to construct a special, culinary masterwork menu for guests.

Chef Greg Malouf is an Australian native of Lebanese parentage who through decades of passion for the Middle East has transformed the way in which the world understands and enjoys this style of cuisine. His innovative take, while grounded in tradition, is to apply a contemporary twist to traditional fare from territories stretching from Moorish Spain to North Africa and Turkey. He elevates dishes to be lighter and more accessible without destroying the original, for which he has become a culinary icon, winning numerous awards and great respect from critics and diners alike.

Having strongly influenced the development of Australia’s modern food scene, Greg Malouf has since made his mark in both London and Dubai, most recently with the launch of Cle in the financial district and is currently writing his eighth book.

For one week only he promises to bring his versatility and talent in the kitchen to Six Senses Zighy Bay by offering a mouth-watering exploration of the Middle East, each dish a metaphorical love letter to its origin, inspired by Malouf’s own travels through the Levant. Guests of the acclaimed resort will indulge in beautiful dishes showcasing his famed unique and sensitive spice blends that resemble works of art and taste even better than they look!

So for those with a mutual love for gastronomy, book into Six Senses Zighy Bay for the chance to experience first-hand a very memorable menu created by an international culinary genius.
